Post all of your rants and the cool things you saw on your commute this morning or your trip back home last evening.
I saw a nice Saab 95 and a nice white GTi. I also saw something I forgot existed, the Toyota Tacoma X-runner. Basically a Tacoma lowered and with a body kit. I shudder at the thought of it.

I love the X-Runner. I sometimes dream of owning one...

X-Runners were also all manual and I believe and an "X" bar. Hence the name.

Is it bad if I really do not remember driving into work this morning?

I actually think the X Runner is kind of cool

I'm going to have to walk to class in a minute, and I already don't like life because a group of really annoying people I know just traded their Panamera for an XF.
Yes this is a college.
They be college students.
And then obligatory Mustang that floors it when someone's looking at them, so I always glance over at Mustangs when they're near our front end murdering speedbumps.

The most interesting car I saw? My own. My commute was riddled with run of the mill sedans, vans and pickup trucks.

From time to time I look for a wrecked x-runner to turn into a missile drift car. I've dreamed of owning one since I was 12-13. I now own a lifted Tacoma and want one of each, haha.

My commute is a bit different. I slept a bit in jumpseats on a FedEx MD-10 freight plane..it carries amazing numbers of shipping cans. I also slept before that in a recliner for 3.9 hours in a crew rest room. My commute ends at this moment in a bed for as few more hours. Goodnight!

There was a dead gold W124 blocking the right lane of a pretty major road. It'd obviously been there for a while because the backup was a good half mile long. I pulled over into a church parking lot to see if I could help. 20 some well dressed chick was inside with her cell phone stuck to her ear totally ignored me. Knocked on the window and waved for her to roll it down and she glanced over for a second then started staring forward again. Nothing. Waited around for about 10 minutes and a couple other guys stopped and got the same response. Guess she just liked being stuck or something. We totally could have pushed he into the lot....it was only about 30 ft. Finally a cop rolled up and asked us what was going on. He just shrugged his shoulders and rolled his eyes when we told him about her catatonic response.
Other than that it was just a normal Thursday.

I left a few minutes early today yet I still ended up stuck behind one school bus that threw off the rest of my commute and made me late. I was also behind an unusual amount of 2nd gen Priusesesszssszz(Prii?) today.

Agreed, the X-runner is actually a decent handling little sport truck. Definitely better than the colorado ZQ8 or whatever that handling package was.

Always a good feeling watching them smash.

Wish I could take naps!

I think it looks pretty cool too. Just very impractical for where we live. It was pushing snow on a main road slowing everyone down.

Prius, the 4 wheel horror.

I saw an H1 and a Model S. 2 cars on the very ends of the MPG spectrum.

That's about how I feel. I remember driving, noticing something vibrating in my glove box, getting into boost for the 'pshhhh', and a lot of fog.
Any other details? Nope. I think there was a school bus somewhere along the way.

If the school bus was not flipped over and/or on fire, I think you are okay.

Our freeway system is straight out of the 60's. Hasn't changed except on the East side downtown. While driving South in the middle lane of the non-updated freeway, where the left lane is an exit-only to take the ramp EAST, the right lane is a merging lane, and there is an exit lane to go WEST, I start to pass a long line of cars slowing in the left exit-only lane, a black HHR decides to whip on his right signal after the white lane has already become solid (you're committed, bro), as I am only a carlength behind him and about to pass. He cancels his signal. Then, as my left front passes his right rear, he whips it on again, and starts to move over. Nuh-uh, nope. I lay on the horn and hold my ground.
There is no one in the right lane so I have a buffer zone of safety just in case...
He tries to force his way over, but I ain't having it. Dude, this freeway's been here since you were a kid, based on how old you look, why haven't you figured it out by now? That exit lane is clearly marked for TWO MILES before the interchange. And his plates are not from out of state, so no using that as an excuse either.
